“Every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment, learn, and develop craft.” ~ Pat Schneider
On the first Thursday of each month, a group of UF Health artists and staff meet to write. During each workshop, Writer in Residence, Dylan Klempner presents a creative prompt. Everyone writes for twenty minutes or so, then reads the work aloud. Group members have a chance to respond to each other’s writing using the Amherst Writers and Artists workshop method fully described in Pat Schneider’s book, Writing Alone and With Others.
